If there was a better experience coming from these hybrid atomizers, I’d happily evolve with the rest of the world. While there’s something to be said for its versatility - most notably the way the PnP marries a standard tank base with a magnetic pod casing - it’s not any better than a standard sub-ohm tank. I enjoyed an average of 6-7 hours of longevity, which is nothing short of amazing considering the big, powerful draws that come from the Mini.īecause the GENE chip series is still performance-focused but largely unchanged, the visual display is the same monochrome OLED we’ve come to know. It may be a little long in the tooth, but with a near-instant firing speed, and immediate detection of all atomizer types, there’s likely nothing you have in your collection that will cause the Drag Mini to stumble.

The soft-textured panels feel better in the hand than cheaper alternatives, which get slick from lower-quality materials. Yes, the gaudy “DRAG” logo still adorns the back of the device, which we continue to dislike, even if Voopoo doesn’t care how many times we repeat that in our reviews. The Drag Mini is noticeably smaller and stockier, with rounded corners and fewer sharp edges, yet the mod is still easily identified as part of the series. Because as attractive as earlier Drag models were, some tended to be a little uncomfortable for holding all day long. Right away you’ll see that the Drag Mini mod has been streamlined for comfort and usability.
